About our eBooks.
The Lighthouse Point Library is a member of an Overdrive eBook consortium made up of eighteen small libraries in the Southeast Florida Library Association. Being part of this group enables the Library to offer over 4,000 eBooks (many of which are new bestselling titles) while sharing the cost across multiple library budgets. This is a HUGE savings for all of the small libraries in the consortium since, on average, it cost a library $1,200 to purchase 10 new bestselling eBook titles.
