As of January 03, 2022
Like many organizations across the nation, the Lighthouse Point Library is currently experiencing a staffing shortage. To provide Library services to residents while still maintaining a safe work environment, starting Monday, January 03 the Library building and phonelines will be open four hours per day, Monday – Friday.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10am to 2pm
Tuesday 2pm to 6pm
Special Holiday Hours: All City Offices are closed Monday, January 17 for MLK Day.
The Library is OPEN. Come in and checkout the latest books, DVDs, audiobooks, attend a class, sign up for a program, use patron computer/printer, or get a couple hours of studying done. A face mask (covering the nose and mouth) is required for ALL individuals ages 2 years and over regardless of their vaccination status. Social distancing is required between household groups. We ask for visits to be limited to two-hours to help allow social distancing for all to enjoy the library. When maximum Library capacity is reached, entry will become “one out, one in”.
Don’t want to enter the building? No problem! Order your items online or by phone and pick them up curbside! Items requested before 3pm Monday – Friday will be ready the next business day. Items requested after 3pm, on weekends, or on holidays may take additional business days.
Reminder, study rooms, print periodicals, and board books are currently unavailable. The Friends are currently unable to accept book/materials donations.
All returning items should be placed in the outdoor drop box. Returning items are cleaned and disinfected by Library staff before being released to the next patron or being shelved.
